The ear cups are a bit bigger on this one as well. I thought that the led on the mic would be a pain to get used to but the headphones come with a handy cover (in box) so the led light is not visible (unless you want to see it).

The Locust plus comes with RGB lights (which the kids love) but feels just a little bit heavier that the SA-902 7.1. The SA-902 7.1 has blue led lights, sounds a bit better the Locust plus and has a boom mic which can be moved away with ease. I purchased the Sades Locust plus and the Sades SA-902 7.1 Sound which cost about the same for the kids and they are really happy with both of the products. Should be interesting to see how long they last. Unnecessary blue LED's that light up when microphone is on (for kids to show off to people on webcam I guess.) Not recommended for plug-&-play, as you will need to download software from the Sades website to run the 7.1 mode (not a big deal.)Ī good budget model. Comes with unneeded software that synthesizes sound environments such as music hall, but this just adds echo and makes the sound terrible.

I do worry how long the holding strength will last on the rotator. Not so good - Your ears may overheat as the pads seal in the air for outside noise reduction (good reason to have a break though.) Microphone boom is not flexible, but that's not a big deal as you can rotate it out of your way. Good inline controller for volume control, and muting sound and microphone. The bass comes across strongly, but can be a little overpowering when listening to music. Good - I find them more comfortable than the Frisby, and have a greater range. I read some reviews on Sades products, and the the Snuk came across as being suitable for me at a good price. It's starting to wear out, so I bought the Sades Snuk SA-902 as a replacement. I've used an old Frisby C-Media 5.1 surround headset for years. The Sades SA-902 is also known as the Sades Snuk.
